The Centre of Arab and Mediterranean Music and the « Makamet » association organize a musical performance that pays tribute to the great master of Tunisian Music, Salah el Mahdi, on Saturday November 22nd, 2014 at 8PM (20:00) at the Ennejma Ezzahra palace, with the contribution of Sofien Zaidi, Rihab Sghaier and Asma Ben Ahmed.
Mounir Troudi’s musical career is punctuated with several collaborations with figures of the international musical scene, such as the Italian Antonio Maiello, the Turkish Mercan Dédé, the Tunisian SKNDR and the Canadian Erik Truffaz. They have, one by one, enriched his career. However, he never dissociated himself from a musical heritage that marked his early stages : Sufi music.

It is his roots that the singer celebrated in this show, created to pay tribute to the most renowned artitits of his natal Grenade : Maude de Falla, Federico García Lorca, Mario Maya, Enrique Morente, and the Habichuela family.
