The University of Tunis and the Higher Institute of Music in Tunis, in partnership with the Center for Arab and Mediterranean Music - Ennejma Ezzahra-, are organizing an international congress about “Tunisian Musical research: A Historical Approach”, on 16, 17 and 18 November 2021. The Epistemuse is an IRN (International Research Network) project that aims to found the first international network of researchers working on the history, historiography and epistemology of musicology, such as it is (and was) practiced in the French-speaking space. The partners of the project cover few countries where musicology is practiced in French language within institutional structures in Belgium, France, Lebanon, Quebec and Tunisia.
