To celebrate the 100th birth anniversary of the great Tunisian singer Saliha, the National Musical Troupe will present a concert dedicated to her, under the baton of Mohammed Lassoued.

Iteb Jlaili, professor of singing at the Higher Institute of Music in Sousse, will kick off the festival with the ensemble Nacim, in a concert entitled "Achwak".

The Centre of Arab and Mediterranean Music will welcome the researcher Jérôme Cler for a Q&A/conference discussing his field work on rural music in Turkey. Date and time : May 13th, 2014 at 10:00AM.

The 2014 celebration of the International Jazz Day, at the Ennejma Ezzahra palace has been, according to the opinion of all who have the opportunity to attend it, an amazing time. A real feast, to celebrate a music genre, which has always had a prominent place at the Centre for Arab and Mediterranean music. The project of the School of Jazz and the Couleurs Jazz Festival (2002-2010) is still in mind.
