The publication of this book (208 pages) is a part of the celebration of the centenary birth of the artist Mohammed Jammousi. The Center for Arab and Mediterranean Music contributed to this event through the organization of a documentary exhibition entitled “My life for art”, which took place at the Ennejma Ezzahra palace from May 28 to June 30, 2010, and also through the closing concert of the 4th session of the “Musicians of Tunisia” festival.

This book presents the complete and exhaustive biography of the artist Mohamed Jammousi after three decades of his death. The book also contains a rare selection of photos and documents, carefully collected by Mohamed Lassaad Kriaa and arranged with great patience and scientific precision.
